Tityra Inquisitor was inspired by the inventor Jacques de Vaucanson, who created one of the first mechanical robots which was a duck that was said to be able to digest its own food. The Tityra Inquisitor is mechanical like Vaucanson's duck, but instead of digesting it performs violent undulations at the viewers command.
